Where will you be spending Christmas Day in Canberra? At a local park having a BBQ with family and friends? Or at home with the air conditioning blaring and a cold seafood lunch? Or perhaps you would like a Christmas Day Lunch which is both hot AND cold at a restaurant, where you don't have to worry about the washing up? Sounds good to me!

Keep reading for some of the Christmas Day options around Canberra this year. Book in early so you don't miss out!

Hotel Kurrajong in Barton have a buffet lunch this Christmas Day including seafood, succulent roasted lamb, honey-glazed ham and roasted turkey with all the trimmings between 12pm - 3pm. There will also be a 3-hour beverage package including sparkling, wine, beer, soft drink and juice. The cost is $259 (adult), $179 (teens 11-17) and $89 (children 10 years and under). Canberra Labor Club at Belconnen will be having a Christmas Day Buffet for $120 (adults), $60 (aged 7-16) and children under 7 are free. Book your group at Canberra Labor Club reception or by calling 6251 5522 - please note that payment must be made at time of booking. See here for details.

The Pavilion on Northbourne in the Civic will be celebrating with a 3-course buffet and a 2-hour beverage package for $195 (adults), $95 (teens 13-17), $50 (children 6-12), $20 (children 3-5) and free for 2 years and under. See here for details with a sample menu - the dessert buffet looks divine!

Marble and Grain in Braddon will also be having a Christmas Day lunch celebration for $195 per person including a 5-course menu and a glass of sparkling on arrival. Choose between a 12pm or 1pm booking time. See here for details.

The George Bar and Grill restaurant at Rydges Canberra Hotel have a 3-course feast with a 2-hour beverage package for $199 (adults), $149 (teens 11-17), $50 (children aged 4-10) and infants under 4 are free. The Boat House restaurant in Barton is located right on Lake Burley Griffin. Each year they host a Christmas Day celebration that books out quickly - so get in early! They will be having a 6-course menu with matching wines to choose from on the day. The cost is $230 for the adult menu and $105 for the children's menu. See here for details.
