And before you even know it, the Christmas season is upon us and we are all thinking about what thoughtful presents to give to loved ones. I love the idea that in giving a present, I am also enhancing people's perceptions and knowledge and expanding their horizons. This is especially true of our children and the ways in which we want to enrich their lives but not necessarily with more clutter.

Cute koalas
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary does a little bit of the thinking on our behalf and has a lot of choices it can offer us for exactly those types of presents. They have brought out a number of events and experiences which will leave a lasting and positive impression and are in the spirit of Christmas.
So choose from a variety of shows on offer in the true spirit of Christmas and enjoy the experience. 'Blinky Bill's Christmas Wish' & Aussie Scales and Tails, Wildlife Hospital Presentations, cool off at Wild Island Adventure Splash Zone, ride the train and discover Lost Valley.

Rainbow Lorikeets
Did you know that Baby Rainbow Lorikeets are born with a black beak which slowly changes to orange as they grow older? I didn't.
The Sanctuary does a wonderful job of caring for sick animals and thinking about what is good for the environment, so you can choose an animal encounter or even an adoption. Have a unique moment holding a koala or even taking a dingo for a walk.
