Have you visited Heritage Listed Ormiston House situated in the Redland's bayside? This just might be the perfect occasion.

Built in the 1860s by Capt. Louis Hope, known as the Father of the AustralianSugar Industry, the house is surrounded by 14 acres of equally historic grounds and gardens overlooking Moreton Bay. At this time of the year, it offers a beautiful setting for taking in the view and for enjoying a Devonshire Tea on the verandah.

On Sunday 8th of December, Ormiston House will be open between 11am and 3pm hosting their Christmas Craft Markets. What an opportunity to peruse the beautiful gardens, the colonial architecture, browse the stalls for hand crafted gifts, and enjoy a cup of tea in the breeze off the bay.

May I have been to other events at Ormiston House. The old homestead is certainly worth a visit.
