Now that Christmas is coming and all the shops are decorated, the children are urging their parents to get the Christmas Tree up and ready.
To help slow them down without curbing their enthusiasm, I recommend taking them for a visit to the local Christmas Complete Shop. The Gippsland one is located in Traralgon and was a great trip out.

The kids really enjoyed inspecting the several inflatable Father Christmases on display in many different sizes. Some are stationary, and others jiggle with the rush of air - all are a comfy size, and the kids thought they would make a pretty good chair.

Inflatable Santa is intriguing
There were about 25 different sized Christmas Trees available for sale, including the stunning fibre optic trees which light up for themselves. The trees range up to $450. And of course baubles in every colour variation imaginable.

One thing I liked was that although Santa is definitely a focus, the reason for the season is not ignored and several rather nice nativities are available also.

The kids had a great time, but it did not really stop them hoping to get the tree up soon - in fact, it may just have cheered them on!
We will be returning to this Christmas Shop in December, when Santa will be occupying his Big Red Chair, and talking to kids in store.

There are several locations for Christmas Complete, in Victoria and Queensland.
