Christmas is a special time of the year: decorations, parties, family, food, shopping for gifts - these are only some of the activities that keep everyone during the few weeks leading up to Christmas rather busy.



The City of Frankston is hosting a few events to make this year's Christmas extra special for residents as well as all those who wish to join in the Christmas spirit.

Seaford Christmas Twilight Market
Shopping, whether it is for Christmas or any other event (or no reason at all) is something that everyone loves to do ranging from kids to adults and seniors. Everyone is looking for those unique gifts to give our family and friends, and local craft markets are a great place to find them. Seaford is hosting a Christmas Twilight Market on Friday, 29 November from 6pm to 9:30pm. Entry is free. You will find everything from jewellery to homewares to hand-made clothing & hampers. There is face-painting for children.

Christmas Festival of Lights
As the name suggests, this festival promises to be a blockbuster. Who doesn't love lights and when they are decorated for this special time of the year, they take on a whole different meaning. This festival will take place on Saturday, 30 November and the full details of the program are available here . Some of the highlights of this extravaganza include visit by Santa himself, Meet and greet with Minions from Despicable Me 2, live performance on stage by Smurfs, rides and thrills, and a whole lot more.

Free Christmas Day Lunch
The true spirit of Christmas can only be captured by sharing, caring and giving to the less privileged members of our society, and to that end, the City of Frankston is hosting two free lunches at two different venues. Although the lunch is free, it is essential to make reservations and procure a ticket which are available for various outlets (details available on event website ). Transport to the event can also be arranged by contacting the organizers.
