Saturday 01 December is the day to pick to come and have some fun by the Scarborough Seaside. This program is brought to you by 'Lights Up Redcliffe" and Moreton Bay Regional Council

During the month of December TEN Christmas trees will be lit up around this seaside location to bring you a beautiful visual display in celebration of the festive season.



On December the 1st, starting at 12pm, midday until 8pm, there is quite a bit happening. So bring yourself and your family along for some festivities by the seaside.

Be present when the 'street parade' takes place, to celebrate the festive season.The parade is set to start from around 4-4.30pm. During this time there will be temporary road closures of Landsborough Avenue (between Warde Street and Kennedy Esplanade).

Earlier and throughout the day, expect to enjoy markets, camel and animal farm rides. Your opportunity to come and meet Santa starts from around 5:40pm at his own "Santa Village." Meet some of Santa's Reindeer and participate in a workshop with his elves or just relax and listen to some Christmas story telling. There will also be some Twilight Carols and a Christmas Show.

For the grand finale there will be an exciting display of fireworks. Don't forget your camera.

Scarborough, just north of Redcliffe, is joined with this suburb and also right down to Woody Point by a beautiful esplanade running right along the waterfront. Scarborough is also a great little seaside hub to explore with a few retail and specialty shops, restaurants and cafes.
