New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Event:
A night of carols & family fun at this scenic homestead
Each year, the historical Lanyon Homestead in Tuggeranong is lit by candles and decorated for a nineteenth century Christmas. Get your family and friends together, pack a picnic and relax in the Lanyon gardens to enjoy a sing-a-long with the Sing Australia Choir and Tuggeranong Valley Band. As the sun sets over the Brindabella's, the kids will enjoy making Christmas ornaments and there will also be a sausage sizzle, music, carols and more. The cost is $10 per car. The evening is held between 5pm - 9pm, with the carols starting at 7pm.
