Gather your family, gather your friends … the Christmas festive season is officially here and everyone is invited to Christmas Carol events on the Sunshine Coast. From Nambour to Buddina, there’s something for everyone. Bookmark the dates, we’re in for a fun and festive lead up to the jolly ol’ guy visiting us later this month.

Sundale’s Community Christmas Carols are back and better than ever! Get ready to sing and dance along to your favourite Christmas tunes while enjoying star-studded performances by Nambour’s finest local talent. Kids will have an absolute blast with free rides, games, adorable animals, face painting and balloon artistry, plus delicious, budget-friendly food options to suit everyone.

Catch Santa at 5.30pm with gifts for the little ones. Bring your family and friends for an evening bursting with festive fun, music and community spirit. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and it’s right in our backyard. Remember to bring a blanket or chair and of course, your merriest Christmas cheer.

Tickets are free, but registration is essential, to make sure that there’s enough food and gifts for every little elf, who visits. Sundale Village is very excited to welcome you all for a good ol’ fashioned jingle.

Come one, come all to the very much-loved Buderim Community Christmas Carols event, once again heralding the start of Buderim’s Christmas season.

As the sun sets, the sound stage in Buderim Village Park will come alive with the melodic sounds of classic carols, creating an ambience of nostalgia, and pulling at the heartstrings of Christmas lovers of all ages. From "Jingle Bells” to “Silent Night,” talented local performers and choirs will fill the air with the magic of the season, encouraging everyone to join in for the Christmas sing-along.

Bring the whole family, grab some eats from the local vendors and join in the Christmas cheer. In the case of rain, the event will be relocated to the Buderim War Memorial Hall across the road.

Calvary Church’s Carols Spectacular: Surprised by Joy is a Christmas production showcasing festive fun, carols plus a visit from the jolly ol’ guy in red, Santa. The children will love the variety of additional activities to enjoy, besides the show, including a 3D jumping castle, an inflatable obstacle course, a petting zoo and food vendors.

Now in its 13th year, Christmas in Alex is a family-focused event, showcasing music on-stage from Dan Horne and The Mary Rivers Band, carols, children’s entertainment with low-cost rides for the kids plus face painting. Santa will be popping in for a visit and Christmas in Alex will finish off with a fireworks display at 8.00pm. There is no entry charge.

Pack a picnic for the park or buy some dinner from one of the local restaurants - Christmas in Alex is always an awesome night out.

Kawana Carols by the Beach is back for 2024! This awesome event is Kawana Nippers’ major fundraiser for the year, with proceeds raised going straight back to the beach to help the Kawana Nippers program and Kawana Surf Life Saving.

Bring your family, bring your friends … Kawana Carols by the Beach celebrates the festive season with a fantastic afternoon and evening of FREE live entertainment from local community groups and professional singers. There will be singing, dancing, food trucks, face painting, sideshow alley and even a visit from Santa himself - for those of you on his ‘nice’ list.

2024 is the 60th Anniversary of the beloved Peregian Beach Carols - the longest-running Carols event on the coast - and according to those in the know, the best!! And it's time to celebrate!

Come along and join in from 3.00pm at Peregian Park* for:



The Carols village set up is in the whole of Peregian Park* - next to the Skate Park, in front of the Surf Club and beside the kids playground.

Tickets Cost :
$15 for a family contribution or $5 for individual contributions
Tickets may be pre-purchased online here.

Tickets are available now for the Peregian Beach Carols and you are invited to come along and CELEBRATE 60 YEARS with the organisers and enjoy the wonderful Peregian community spirit!
Visitor’s ticket costs will include all the entertainment - music, rides, face-painting and the big attraction....SANTA landing on the beach to say an early hello.
