Saturday 29th November

Frankston's Christmas Festival of Lights: Cnr Davey & Young Streets, Frankston. 5pm 10pm. FREE entry.
For the past 17 years, Frankston has celebrated the lighting of the 100 year-old Norfolk Pine tree with carnival rides, food stalls and show bags, live entertainment and free children's activities. Santa will be there along with Mrs Claus. This year the festival is being hosted by Brodie Harper, and the evening concludes with a show and FIREWORKS.

Friday 5th December

Balnarring Community Carols: Balnarring Primary School, Civic Court, Balnarring. 6.30pm-8.00pm. FREE entry.

Thursday 11th December

Joy to the World Concert: Peninsula Community Theatre. 91 Wilsons Road, Mornington. 7.30pm-9.30pm. Adults $22. Concession $20. Under 14 $10.
Presented by the Frankston Music Society. Enjoy Christmas carols sung by the Mornington Peninsula Chorale. Enquiries 9789 3686.

Mount Eliza Carols on the Green: Mt Eliza Village Green, Cnr Mount Eliza Way & Canadian Bay Road, Mt Eliza. 6.00pm-8.30pm. FREE entry. Professional & local singers, choirs and school groups.

Friday 12th December

Choir of Hope and Inspiration (Formerly Choir of Hard Knocks): Frankston Arts Centre, Cnr Davey & Young Streets, Frankston. Shows at 10.30am and 1.30am. Tickets $18.

Hastings Community Carols by Candlelight: Hastings Foreshore, 21 Marine Parade, Hastings. 6.00pm-9.30pm. FREE entry. BBQ sausage sizzle, animal farm, craft for the kids. Kids are invited to dress up and participate on stage with singing and nativity performance. Other performances by local schools and special guests.

Rye Carols in the Park: Rye Foreshore. Point Nepean Road, Rye. 6.30pm-10.30pm. FREE entry. Community singers. Food & drink stalls, candles and novelties, Christmas raffle, Santa and FIREWORKS!

Saturday 13th December

Main Street Mornington Christmas Market: Main Street, Mornington. 9am-3pm. Boasting an eclectic array of home baked, made or grown items, gourmet foods, children's toys and clothing, accessories and so much more. FREE entry.

Mornington Carols in the Park: Mornington Park. Cnr Esplanade & Main Streets, Mornington. 6pm-9pm. FREE entry. Activities, Santa, food stalls, novelties, animal farm, balloon artists, FREE face painting.

Somerville Carols by Candlelight: Fruit Growers Reserve, Station Street, Somerville. 6.30pm-10pm. FREE Entry. Community singers, local bands and schools to perform.

Rosebud Carols by Candlelight: Village Green. 994 Point Nepean Road, Rosebud. 8pm-9.30pm. FREE entry. Southern Peninsula Concert Band and community singers.

Sunday 21st December

Mount Martha Christmas Carols Concert on the Lawn: Ferrero Reserve. 37 Seppelt Avenue, Mount Martha. 7pm-9pm. FREE entry. Community singers.

Tuesday 23rd December

Mount Martha Carols by Candlelight: Mount Martha Community House. 466 Esplanade, Mount Martha. 8pm-9.45pm. FREE entry. Community singers.

Wednesday 24th December

Dromana Christmas Carols: Old Shire Offices, 359 Point Nepean Road, Dromana. 6pm-9pm. FREE entry. BBQ dinner available.

Christmas Day Thursday 25th December

Mornington Community Christmas Lunch: Senior Citizens Hall, Flinders Drive, Mornington. From noon. FREE. Providing meals and company for adults living in the Mornington Peninsula community who would otherwise spend Christmas Day alone. Lunch and festivities provided by volunteers.
