Step back in time and enjoy the spirit of Christmas at Lanyon Homestead in Tharwa, on Saturday, 8th November. Bring along a picnic dinner and relax in the gardens as you catch up with family and friends and wait for the magical evening ahead. The homestead will be lit by candles and decorated for a nineteenth century Christmas, as the sun sets over the Brindabella mountain ranges behind.

Sing along with the Sing Australia Choir and Tuggeranong Valley Band, enjoy Christmas ornament-making for children, have a sausage sizzle, be entertained by music and sing all your favourites with carols on the lawns.

The gates open at 5pm and it costs $10 per car to enter if you book online (or $15 cash on the night). This event is presented in association with Sing Australia Choir and the Tuggeranong Valley Band. See the ACT Historic Houses website for more details.
