New to Canberra, I love exploring this city and the secrets that it holds with my family.
Event:
Relax on the lawns at this 19th century homestead
Lanyon Homestead is a historical home in the south of Tuggeranong and each year the grounds open for an evening of Christmas Carols. Step back in time and enjoy traditional Christmas decoration-making, a sausage sizzle and sing traditional Christmas Carols with Sing Australia Choir and the Tuggeranong Valley Band. The evening begins at 5pm, with the carols starting at 7pm. This event costs $10 per car to get in. See the ACT Historic Places website for more details.
