It's that time of the year again and besides pageants , various carols events are also happening around Adelaide this Christmas 2022.

First and foremost, the much-loved Adelaide Carols by Candlelight is returning to Elder Park on Sunday the 11th of December. It'll be a day of free entertainment from 2pm, so do follow their Facebook page for all the latest artist announcements, giveaways and updates.

Celebrating its silver jubilee, Carols at Kingswood Oval will mark the occasion with Hawthorndene artists and educators Eliza Lovell and Rory Walker bringing the event to life on Saturday the 26th of November. There will be drama, video and audio presentations for all to enjoy as well as face painting, bubble blowing and pony rides to keep the kids occupied. The oval is located at the corner of Belair Road and Halsbury Avenue.

For those living on the other side of town, you're invited to come along to the Salisbury Community Christmas Carols & Fireworks at Carisbrooke Park on Saturday the 10th of December. The night will feature outstanding local talent, kids entertainment and delicious food. To make it a weekend to remember, why not also check out the Community Carols at Globe Derby Park the following day. And, you'll be able to take advantage of a free food giveaway too. Just bring some shopping bags with you. Admission is free, however, a donation would be appreciated via their website .

Towards the northeast is the Civic Park Carols on Sunday the 11th of December. From 4pm, you and your family can enjoy a Christmas Village atmosphere with market stalls, face painting and roving entertainment. The main on-stage show will follow at 7:30pm before fireworks finish off the night. Modbury's Civic Park does have a large capacity limit, however, you'd be able to watch the carols live-streamed too if you wish.
