Christmas is warm evenings under the stars. What better way to welcome the festive season with a at Capalaba Regional Park.This is a free family friendly event run by the Redland City Council , and is their largest free community event for the year.

Held on Saturday 6 December 2014 and starting at 4pm there really is something for everyone at this Christmas event. An afternoon of free children's activities includes lots of fun with an animal zoo, face painting, jumping castles and rock climbing.Without doubt, a children's highlight will be the visit from Santa.



Not for profit market stalls, and lots of food and drinks will ensure everyone is in a festive mood.

Be there at 5.45pm for a special children's Christmas show. After the kids show, there will be a traditional Christmas carol concert starring The Voice Australia's tenor, Luke Kennedy; cabaret singer, Naomi Price; and winner of The Voice Kids Australia, Alexa Curtis. A talented lineup of other local talent will support them including Jal Joshua and Kiara Rodrigues accompanied by the Redland Sinfonia Orchestra.

The evening rounds out with a spectacular fireworks event.

The Redland City Council's Christmas by Starlight will be held on Saturday 6 December at Capalaba Regional Park, Pittwin Road, Capalaba.
