This special biscuit recipe is from my grandmother. These biscuits are delicious and are the perfect treat for the whole family this Christmas. It is a very easy recipe (only 4 steps) and they are a lot of fun to make.
350 g butter 3 1/2 cups of plain flour 3 eggs 1 teaspoon ginger powder
1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Line a tray with baking paper.
2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs then sift in bicarb soda and flour. Mix until forms a smooth dough.
3. On a floured board, kneed the dough - grab the kiddies for this one. Roll out the dough on baking paper and cut the dough out with Christmas cutters.
4. Place on baking tray and pop it into the oven for 10 minutes. Once cooled, let the children decorate the biscuits with icing, Smarties or other lollies.
