Twenty four year old girl studying languages and creative writing, coming home to Sydney after five years exploring the world.
It's never too early to get excited about the magic of Christmas - and seeing as though Sydney usually is considerate enough to begin decorating for the holiday in November, there's no doubt the excitement of the season is well and truly upon us. For those who are fortunate enough to live in Sydney, there will always be a wide variety of Christmas concerts and events leading up to the day itself that are becoming more and more creative and unique.
However, Sydney's beautiful Town Hall, which has been standing proudly in the city since the 1880's will always be able to offer something a little more classic for those who seek the more traditional Christmas experience.
On December 20th Town Hall will be hosting a night of beautiful carols and Christmas favourites guided by Christopher Bowen, one of Australia's most well-known musicians and conductors. Experience the richness of these timeless Christmas melodies like never before when lead by the internationally renowned Robert Ampt on the city's grand organ.
Performing and leading the joyful chorus will be:
• Elke Hook (Soprano) Owen Torr (Harp) The Sydney University Graduate Choir The Central Coast Chorale The Sydney Community College Choir
The Choir of St John's, Wahroonga The Central Coast Childrens' Choir conducted by Jenny Bell
Christmas at Sydney Town Hall is a heart-warming community event the whole family will enjoy, and the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit, and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas through the words of the hymns and quality time with your loved ones.
