Join in the fun and get in the spirit of Christmas at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre!

This year, there is a lot to be merry about as Indooroopilly opens its doors to shoppers and gets into the Christmas spirit with free offers for families.

SANTA PARADE - 11 NOVEMBER
Kick off the festive season and join in the Santa parade on Saturday 11 November from 10-11am. It will travel around the Centre and start and end near Coles on Level 1. Dress in your favourite festive gear, bring the family and join in this magical parade. There will be live music, acrobats and Christmas characters to keep the family entertained.
 


FREE SANTA AND PET PHOTOS
Then, stay and smile for the camera and say "FREEEEEEE!" and snap up a FREE Santa Photo from 11am near Coles. Rest assured Santa will be ready for happy or crying babies, beard pulling toddlers, inquisitive kids and family groups for memorable photos. I am sure he will love to hear your child's Santa wish list; so stay close for Christmas present ideas!

Don't worry if the line is too long to see Santa. He will be available for photos between Saturday 11 November and Sunday 24 December so there is plenty of time to come back when things are quieter. When did you last go out for lunch as a family? Maybe go, enjoy a bite to eat and come back?

FREE Sensory Santa sessions will be on Saturday 2 December for children who have sensory needs. Appointments are essential, so book here to avoid disappointment.

Do you have fur child/ren? This year your four-legged family members are invited on Sundays, by appointment, for a FREE Santa Free Pet Photo! Book your dog or cat a photo session here , so you don't miss out. On the day, you will arrive at a designated entrance to be ushered to see Santa. Dressing your fur child(ren) in festive gear is encouraged (but not essential)!

FREE CHILDCARE, MOVIE AND DRINK
Indro is once again offering 2 hours free supervised childcare so you can shop alone without the kids! This year, 4 - 12 year olds will be treated to a Christmas movie, popcorn and drink on Tuesday 12 December 2-4pm and Tuesday 19 December 10am-12pm. It is free and bookings are essential.

BUBBLES AND BAUBLES
Every Thursday from 5-9pm between 30 November - 21 December, stop and rest tired feet, enjoy a glass of champagne and canapés on Level 2, under the Chandelier. It is free, you do not need to book and it is a great chance to meet up with friends!

FAMILY LUNCH IDEAS
Why not turn your Christmas shopping and Santa photo time into a family event, get in the festive spirit and enjoy a family lunch?

Cafes throughout the Centre and the Food Court on Level 3 offer a wide range of cuisines to suit all dietary requirements. Or stop in at the Pig 'N' Whistle or go outside to the Station Road dining options.

Pig 'N' Whistle

If you feel like a hearty pub meal, a visit to the first established Pig 'N' Whistle in Brisbane, is a must. This iconic pub may not look like much from the outside, but major renovations in 2014 have transformed it to a venue with English décor with modern touches. It has an outside bar, Dining Room, Bistrot and a varied menu and kids menu . The Guinness Pie is a must.

Do not be deceived by looks! Step inside for a hearty, delicious pub meal.



Station Road Dining
Step outside the Food Court to explore the options on Station Road that are sure to satisfy the fussiest of eaters and is well suited for a relaxed sit down meal. A walk down the road and indulge in an ice-cream where you imagination is the limit at Cold Rock is highly recommended!


Or go for a short drive and delight your taste buds with a delicious meal and sensational coffee or smoothie at Simon's Gourmet Gallery . Maybe pick up some Christmas produce or chat to the friendly staff at Simon's about a Christmas Gift Basket while you are there.

Holy Family Christmas Markets
The Holy Family Christmas Markets will be held on Sunday 19 November from 930am-130pm. It will have cake stalls, local crafts and Christmas gifts. Head to the Corner Central Avenue and Cecil Street to enjoy the festivities before or after your Santa Photo!

Free Bunnings Workshops
Each year Bunnings hold free Christmas workshops for kids. Last year there was a DIY Christmas Wreath Workshop. Information can be found at Bunnings Indooroopilly .

Indooroopilly Library Story Time
Entertaining young children is made easy by going to a story time sessions at the Indooroopilly Library. It is great to break up your shopping trip, wait for your Santa Photo or borrow Christmas books. Session times can be found here .

HOW TO GET HERE?
Located 7 km to the west of Brisbane's CBD, Indooroopilly is easily accessible. Drive, catch a bus, train or a taxi/Uber to Indooroopilly.

Multi-storey, undercover parking can be accessed from Moggill, Musgrave, Stamford and Grosvenor Roads.

Alternatively catch a bus to the Indooroopilly Bus Station, conveniently located adjacent to the Food Court on Level 3. Walk down to Level 1 to find Santa.

The Indooroopilly Train Station is a short 5-minute walk away on Station Road. Stop in at Cold Rock on the way and pick up an ice-cream and satisfy your inner child!
