If you're looking for Santa, you'll find him at
Crown, 8 Whiteman St, Southbank, over the festive period. He'll be sitting on the Christmas throne at Crown Atrium waiting to give you the opportunity of free digital pics with him from
12-6pm daily from 1-24 December 2022. One for the memories for big and little kids. You'll get the images instantly as a digital copy via text.
The Atrium will be abuzz with Crown's Christmas show, featuring 12 professional dancers, a live vocalist, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. It's going to be a fast-paced, high-energy performance inspired by the Radio City Hall Rockettes, and will be curated to a festive soundtrack and costumed in theme. The show will run for 10 mins over the 18 days on Thursdays through to Sundays 1-24 Dec with show times at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. The show will also be performed during the week in the lead up to Christmas from Monday through to Saturday at the Crown Atrium Grand Staircase.
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas with the Carols and The Australian Girls Choir will take to the Grand Staircase and perform uplifting Carols on 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 December. The Choir will sing fro 20 mins following each Atrium show at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Then there's more in the form of Roving Entertainment within the Atrium that includes a wide range of performers with a multitude of talent. There'll be photo opportunities galore. The roving entertainers will perform for 18 days Thursdays through to Sundays, plus the week leading into Christmas. Act 1 will run from 12-3pm, Act 2 from 1.30-4.30pm, and Act 3 from 3-6pm.
Other entertainment includes musical instruments, face painters, balloon twisters, stilt walkers, Samoyed Christmas puppies, festive suit characters, Christmas themed dancers, and Mrs Claus.
