Ashgrove Baptist Church will be igniting the festive season with an afternoon of Christmas festivities and family fun for everyone to enjoy this December.
The Ashgrove Baptist Church has a history in the suburb which dates back to Sunday 17 June 1934. It all started when a group met in the Ashgrove Progress Association Hall with the hope to see a Baptist Church established in the rapidly growing western suburb on the outskirts of Brisbane. This meeting became the first Ashgrove Baptist Church service.
Christmas at Ashgrove kicks off at 4pm on 8 December 2019 and finishes with a bang with fireworks at 7pm. Head to 7 Firhill Street Ashgrove to take full advantage of the FREE program which features:
4pm CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL
Designer Christmas markets, barista coffee, food, drinks, family photography, animal farm, jumping castles, inflatable obstacle course, Zorb balls, face painting and kids craft.
5:30pm SANTA ARRIVES
6pm COMMUNITY CAROLSChristmas carols with live nativity.
7pm FIREWORKS Fireworks and ice-cream.
