The start of summer in December brings many things, from holidays to Christmas, with celebrations happening all month and The Fullerton Hotel in Sydney is putting on some dining experiences to enjoy with your loved ones.

As a lover of sweet things, the Christmas Afternoon Tea stands out with some wonderful-looking treats that include Christmas mille-feuille with spiced eggnog custard and reindeer decorations, a gingerbread man streusel with whipped ganache and plum compote, tropical trifle with a coconut mousse bauble and peach melba presents.


Savoury options include a roasted turkey & cranberry sandwich, honey-glazed ham roulade with braised vanilla & star anise pineapple on brioche, a Yamba prawn cocktail and a Mosaic of miso-glazed eggplant with honey caviar, spiced pumpkin & oxheart tomato.

On top of these, there are freshly baked scones (both plain & raisin) served with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream, a variety of teas (black, herbal & premium) and coffee (from espresso to cappuccino & mocha).

The signature package above comes in at $78 per person and, for an additional $20 per person, you can upgrade to 2 hours of free-flow service of organic Canti Prosecco. Other packages with the afternoon tea include a flute of Chandon Sparkling Wine for $88 per person or a flute of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV champagne for $98 per person.

This festive afternoon tea takes place at The Bar from 12pm-4pm. Reservations are recommended, although walk-ins will be accepted if there is availability.

Apart from the food, the hotel’s Christmas decor adds to the spirit of the season with plenty of decorations in fine company with a 5-metre tall Christmas tree filled with over 500 Fullerton Christmas bears.
