The 2018 Choral Festival will feature choirs from all over South Australia. This magnificent musical extravaganza will be hosted by noted choir Sisters of Abundance and South Australian Country Choral Association. It will feature choirs from regional South Australia. Each choir has the opportunity to do a presentation as well as a 280 voice choir and guest artist singer Imala Konyn accompanied by pianist Alita Konyn. Choirs will travel from all over the state to McLaren Vale, where they will gather and work together to present a wonderful concert in the Tatachilla Lutheran College Stadium. The festival will take place on the weekend of 10th, 11th and 12th, August 2018.

Choirs on the Road This wonderful event will feature many choirs, some of who have travelled over 700km, coming from as far away as Port Lincoln, Millicent, Riverland, Port Augusta, Adelaide Plains and Victor Harbor. There is a special "Meet and Greet' event on the evening of Friday 10th August for invited guests to be held at the McLaren Vale Motel Function Room. A number of selected local businesses will be arranging displays to showcase various local wine and produce. This will include wine tastings, sampling local produce such as cheese, olives, dips, chocolate, nuts and including locally produced herbal teas and skin care products.
The main event will be a choral concert held on Saturday the 11th of August at 2pm at Tatachilla Lutheran College Stadium. The concert will feature items from each choir and a spine-tingling 280 voice mass choir which is bound to 'Raise the Roof'. Special guest artist IMALA KONYN will delight the audience with her wonderful voice and she is accompanied on piano by her equally talented sister Alida.

The Grand Finale of the festival is on Sunday August 12th with a Gospel session at St Paul's Lutheran Church Aldersey Street, McLaren Vale at 11 am. The Regional choirs will sing gospel songs as well as a singing workshop by well-known musician Quentin Eyers, where everyone will be encouraged to sing along. Entry to the gospel concert is FREE to everyone.
