With a new Chocolates Del Mondo cafe having recently opened on Burwood Road, Burwood. My partner and I decided to try it out.

We decided to visit early on a Sunday morning while it was quiet. Once there, I decided on a cafe latte and a Mars Bar tart from the menu. At first, I order the chocolate French toast but was advised that French toast was unavailable due to the machine not working.

The tart was served with a strawberry and ice-cream. The pastry was short and crumbly, while the filling was a mix of mascarpone, caramel and chocolate, which made the dish quite rich in taste, though delicious.

It is definitely a dish I'd have again but not to often, as it might hurt the waistline. Of course this is very much of a subjective comment, depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have.
