Some things just naturally go together. Think, Simon and Garfunkel or Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. One of the best food combinations is chocolate and peanut butter. This, of course, was made famous as Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
A good way to enjoy the peanut butter cup, but without the sugar or fat or additives or guilt is to enjoy it as a smoothie using quality and as natural as possible ingredients. Served up in a nice little decorative glass it is great as a dessert or a pick up treat for that time in afternoon when one starts to wane a bit.
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tbsp natural peanut butter
2 bananas
2 tsp vanilla
Blend well in blender.
Serving sizes depend on how much you want to put in a glass. Life is meant to be enjoyed - drink it up!
