For all chocolate-lovers

If you love chocolate, then nothing looks better than the drizzled dark chocolate in the photo above! This Chocolate Muesli Slice is a healthy combination of oats, sunflower seeds and cacao and then it is topped with delicious, drizzled dark chocolate. It is a tasty slice to take to work to have with a cuppa, or as a filling snack for the kids.

This recipe was the result of experimenting with what I had in my pantry, so feel free to follow it exactly or do the same and substitute items with what you already have at home. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 and 1/2 cup oats
1 cup self-raising flour
1 cup sultanas
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
3/4 cup raw sugar
1/2 cup cacao powder
3 tablespoons margarine
3 Tablespoons honey
1 cup Dark Choc Melts

Combine the ingredients, press into the tin and bake for 15 minutes

What To Do:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 180 degrees, fan-forced. Line a rectangle slice tray with baking paper.

Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients - oats, flour, sultanas, sunflower seeds, coconut, sugar and cacao.

Step 3: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the margarine and honey at 30-second intervals, until margarine has melted.

Step 4: Pour the melted margarine mixture into the dry ingredients and stir. Pour into the lined rectangle slice tin and press down firmly with a fork.

Step 5: Bake for 15 minutes. Leave to completely cool and harden in the tray.

Step 6: Melt the Choc Melts in the microwave at 30-second intervals until completely melted. Drizzle over the top of the slice with a spoon. Allow to set in the fridge and then cut up into squares with a large, sharp knife. Store in an airtight container.
