There are times when you can ponder over what type of present you should give someone as they seem to have everything they need, however, if you give them good quality homemade chocolates, the decision is easily made.

is the new chocolate shop in Wynnum and is fast becoming everyone's favourite chocolate haunt as the word is now out that the Chocolates, Truffles, Rocky Road, Honeycomb, Pralines, Chocolate bars with celebratory sayings and more are absolutely delicious and there are flavours to suit every taste bud. I am not a lover of Blue Cheese, however, owner Dawn assured me that I would like the Chocolate Truffle with Blue Cheese in the centre. Wow, it was a knock-out and certainly I loved the taste.

All the sweets are handcrafted on-site as has two chocolatiers and several staff dedicated to creating top-grade chocolates for you to enjoy. uses the best Belgian couverture chocolate in their tempering process. Couverture chocolate is very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter than normal baking or eating chocolate. The combination of the extra cocoa butter and proper tempering gives the chocolate more sheen with a creamy mellow flavour.

Now that the warmer weather has arrived is also selling a limited range from Borgo SALUMI, which is from a family-owned Brisbane based company " Borgo Salumi ". This meat is also gluten and lactose-free. Other food items stocked are artisan cheese, crackers, non-alcoholic drinks G&T/Dark & Stormy/Dram & Dry, which is great for those who do not drink alcohol but still want to enjoy social festivities with family and friends. If you are thinking of attending a bar-be-que or picnic, you can pre-order your drinks, chocolate and cheese, which are well presented for you to take to your event.

Both Dawn and her partner Phil are Bayside Residents and they wanted to provide a new and exciting service to the local community. What could be more exciting than learning the science behind chocolate making and purchasing delicious tasting chocolates? For those people who love Honeycomb, you can be assured that ' Honeycomb is made on-site from locally produced honey. Chocolate Making Classes are available on a Sunday by appointment.

During the brewing process, spring water is filtered through the amethyst or rose quartz crystals to invite balance, passion, creativity and a deep connection to your intuition. Finally, the mixture is lightly carbonated to add a little fizz. I tried a cup of hot chocolate, which comes in a milk or dark variety; you can also purchase these beverages cold. Many people now prefer a hot chocolate at night before retiring instead of a hot cup of milk or coffee.

This coffee bean can be mixed with your favourite coffee martini, in chocolate beverages or it can also be brewed cold.

Another interesting item to purchase from is a range of unique crystal lamps made by Elemental Formations. On the day of my visit, a customer had several different designs resting on the counter while trying to decide on which one she liked the best. They are beautifully crafted and would suit a dining or lounge area perfectly.

Dawn and Phil pride themselves on supporting local businesses as they too are a local business giving opportunities and supporting the community. Currently, opening times are -

  • The above opening hours allow plenty of time for those who work to pop in after they finish and not be rushed as they make their choices. If you have a special occasion, can make a special order for your event.
