Okay, so you'd like to make something for your friends but you're not one of those people who can create something out of nothing like they do on TV. Fear not! The following instructions will allow you to make edible Christmas Candles which will amaze and stun your friends and make them think you are very clever indeed.

Firstly you'll need to gather some delicious ingredients - white chocolate melts, milk chocolate melts/chips, mini Wagon Wheels, some kind of cylindrical chocolate bars (I used Boost) Jaffas, lolly mint leaves and almond nibs.

Then take a couple of the Wagon Wheels and cut one of your chocolate bars in half.

Melt the milk chocolate and put a dab on the cut edge of your chocolate bar. place it gently on the Wagon Wheel and make sure it doesn't sit wonky. If it does, trim it a little, pop a bit more chocolate on and try again. Eat the trimmings. Craft never tasted so good!

Then, melt your white chocolate and carefully drizzle about a teaspoon full over the top of the chocolate bar and let it dribble down the sides, so it looks a bit like candle wax. While the chocolate is still wet, sit one almond nib in the top to resemble a candle wick.

Next, you'll need your lollies. Take one Jaffa, dip it in the melted milk chocolate and place at the foot of the 'candle'. Dab a bit of chocolate on the back of two mint leaves and place them either side of the Jaffa.

How easy was that, folks? Now you can make as many as your ingredients will allow and give them out to family and friends alike, or you can just eat them all yourself and get very sick.

Maybe not a good idea!
