Yummy cookies to munch
easy chocolate chip cookies
For most busy people, cooking dinner each night is a chore and the chance of making anything extra is virtually non-existent. That is why these chocolate-chip cookies are so wonderful.
You only need ten minutes of preparation time and they are ready to go in the oven.
These biscuits are also a great low GI snack; with the option of chickpeas for added protein.
Mix the following ingredients together until combined, then place heaped tablespoons of mixture onto oven tray; bake in a moderate oven (180 degrees) for 25 minutes (makes about 24 cookies).
Ingredients: 125 g butter/margarine (softened)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup milk
½ can chickpeas pureed (optional)
2 cups plain flour1 cup chocolate chips
After baking, cool cookies on a wire rack.
There's only one thing left to do - eat and enjoy!
