Chocolate Banana Ice-Cream Recipe

This recipe is as simple as they come. It's great for anyone looking for a healthier alternative to ice-cream, young children, vegetarians, vegans (switch the milk for soy) or anyone looking for a simple treat that's out of the ordinary.

Serves 2 small servings. You can double if you want to make a big batch, but you'll notice while eating it that you don't really want too much anyway.

Ingredients:
1. Two ripe bananas (you can use non-ripe bananas but I've noticed the ripe ones work better)
2. 1-2 tablespoons of milk
3. A splash of vanilla essence
4. 1 tablespoon of Milo or cocoa.

Method:
1. A day before you plan on making this chop up your bananas and place into a seal lock bag and pop them in the freezer. Overnight works best as they'll freeze up more, but even a few hours before dessert should do the trick.

2. Once the bananas are frozen and you're ready to make your 'ice-cream' place them into a bowl, and add your milk, vanilla essence and Milo.

3. Using an electric hand blender (or a regular blender if that's all you have) blend until you're bananas look like ice-cream. Try not to over-mix. If you don't find it a bit runny just pop it back in the freezer for a few minutes before eating.

4. Serve as it is.
