This place is so relaxing - you'll walk out a new person
I always judge a day spa, masseuse or beautician by the look of the business when I walk in. I believe that the minute you enter the doors you should be entering a sanctuary. Instant calmness and relaxation should sweep over you. I love the meditational chakra balancing music, the faintly dimmed lighting and the relaxed atmosphere.
ChocoLat Beauty has this serenity, with the modern clean look of timber and spaciousness. It is run from a converted house and certainly has the professionalism and look that you want from a short treatment day spa.
Packages are available for a variety of different treatments which certainly look inviting.
On day I visited, I opted for a hot stone massage. I appreciated the way that the masseuse asked me questions before the massage and then left me free to contemplate the world and drift off into a lovely daydream by not speaking for the balance of the massage. She seemed to know what she was doing and although it was a relaxation massage she definitely ironed out some muscles and knots I'd had for a while.
For anyone looking for a nice place on Brisbane's northside to get treatments done, without having to enter the hustle and bustle of a busy shopping centre or business area, I would recommend ChocoLat Beauty Day Spa. Their website boasts winning the Quest Newspapers Business Achiever Award in 2010, as well as being a finalist in 2011. I can certainly see why.
Apart from any specials listed on their website, ChocoLat Beauty also have a frequent visitor customer card giving great discounts on the 5th and 10th visits.
See their website for their full range of services, prices and packages.
