Life should be like a box of chocolates with lots of different experiences to try. The North South Feast West is an exciting and delicious series of festivals, workshops and cantinas to be held in January 2015 at the Immigration Museum.

The idea is to come and meet up with friends and celebrate food from various cultures in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere that involves music on warm summer evenings.

The Choc Fest is one of the many events but bound to be one of the most popular. You can relax in the chocolate beer garden, enjoy live musical performances, as well as learning something of of chocolate's cultural history and traditions. But what most people will love the most are the chocolate treats provided by Mörk Chocolate, Tonantzin Aztec Artisan Chocolate, Bretzel Biz, 2Pocket Fair Trade, Pacari Ecuadorian organic chocolate, Conscious Chocolate, La Tortilleria and Los Amates.

A special indulgence will be waffles from the Belgian Club Victoria and chic hops by Mildura Brewery.

Entertainment includes the Oscar Jimenez Trio, Afro-Brazilian percussion group Maracatu Estrela do Mar, CC:DISCO from PBS' Smoke and Mirrors, and Alma Mater performing traditional Portuguese Fado.

Another nice activity involving mellow music on a warm summer night are Stonnington's free summer concerts in the parks.
