Set in England in 1910, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tells the story of an old racing car, an eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts. Potts re-builds the car, turning it into a flying car and naming it Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because of the noise the engine makes. Along with his children, Jeremy and Jemima, and Miss Truly Scrumptious, Potts flys to Vulgaria where they meet many amazing characters and after an exciting adventure, they return home to England.

The magical vintage racing car used in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cost over a million dollars to build and holds the record in the Guinness Book of World Records for the 'most expensive prop ever used in British Theatre'.

The longest-running musical to play at the London Palladium, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was written in 1968 by Ian Fleming writer of the James Bond novels. It contains well-know musical numbers, written by Richard and Robert Sherman, such as 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', 'Truly Scrumptious' and 'Toot Sweets'.

Don't miss seeing this fantastic classic musical show, it's one that everyone will enjoy. If you liked Mary Poppins, then you will love the magical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
