Make a Weekend Away Seeing The Stunning Wildflower Displays
Wildflowers,from,Chittering,area
So many different varieties

The Chittering Spring Flower Festival is an event not to be missed for those who love flowers and even for those who just want to see a spectacular display of our native flowers as well as from home gardens.

The town of Bindoon also has its gardens out in colour and you can go on the Bindoon Tale Trail for those wanting to take a slow walk through the history of Bindoon and Chittering.

Wildflowers in abundance

For those who are not familiar with this area of Perth, the following is a short clip showing the beauty of this area.

Most of the Festival activities are within walking distance of the Hall, apart from the Quilts in Spring and Bindoon Museum which are both located in the historical Brockman Centre, 6 kilometres South of the town. Chittering Landcare has a display of wildflower specimens (Old Gingin Rd Muchea).

There will also be sales of flowers and plants on the day, so you are sure to get some unusual and interesting botanical items for your home and garden.

Red Flowering Gums

It will be a colourful setting in Chittering/Bindoon which is just one hours drive from the Centre of Perth and even closer depending on where you live. You can see the Tourism Chittering's home page here, and you find this a very informative site.
