Market at the heart of the community
After a very successful trial market last month, the Chittering Community Market will be back again, bigger and better than ever. Located at the Chinkabee Complex Oval, (behind the Bindoon Town Hall), this free event will be held on Sunday 9th December, 2012 from 7.30am until 12 noon.
The Chittering Community Market features plenty of fun and entertainment for all the family. There will be lots of market stalls offering hand-made items and home cooked goods, arts and crafts stalls, plants, fruit and vegetables, cakes, baked goodies and much, much more.
There will also be lots of free live entertainment, which really adds to the festive atmosphere and makes this a great event.
Proudly brought to you by the Shire of Chittering, this really is a community market, bringing together local people; a morning of fun where people can meet, chat, buy and sell their products.
If you get hungry during your visit to the Chittering Community Market enjoy a brekky burger, a yummy sausage sizzle or some delicious ice cream.
Chittering is a rural area, approximately 70km north of Perth, about an hours drive away along Great Northern Highway. Part of the Chittering Valley, it is a popular tourist area with award winning food and wine. The region offers fantastic views, vineyards, orchards, pastures and bushland.
