Celebrate the Year of the Goat on Sunday 22nd February from 10am-10pm, in Russell Street Chinatown.

Watch performances of Chinese lion dances, martial artists, folk music, acrobatic dances, and be woken with the sound of firecrackers and loud drumming music! Sample a feast of Asian foods at many stalls and restaurants, as the Chinese community of Melbourne welcome in the Year of Goat.

Other locations around Melbourne will also host Chinese New Year Celebrations, on the dates and times from January through to March, as listed below:

18th January, 10am 10pm: St Albans, Alfrieda St
1st February, 10am 10pm: Richmond, Victoria St
8th February, 10am 10pm: Footscray, Hopkins St
14th February 1pm 1am: Box Hill, Market St and Whitehorse Rd
15th February, 9am 9pm: Springvale, Buckingham Avenue
21st-22nd February, TBC: Noble Park, Noble Park Racecourse
28th February, TBC: Federation Square, Melbourne
1st March, 11am 8pm: Glen Waverley, King's Way
