The Hotel Windsor is proud to present guest chefs, Borrowed Space collaborators, Joel Alderson (Royal Mail, Attica, Brix) and Adam Liston (Cutler & Co, T8, Northern Light), reuniting to create a Chinese New Year's Eve banquet on Sunday 7, February, at 6.30pm.

A showcase of Australian produce meets vibrant Chinese flavours and dining style. Guests will be served 'Eight Treasures' on arrival. This unique selection of Asian influenced appetizers will be followed by eight-courses, served banquet style.

Each dish will also be matched to Australian wines and herbal teas, handpicked by Sommelier, Ainslie Lubbock (Royal Mail, Attica, Cutler & Co).

Guests are invited to sit in traditional Chinese 'banquet style' on long tables in the beautiful Grand Ballroom, while talented Chinese Musician, Meng Wang, accompanies the exquisite meal.

The Hotel Windsor has been serving its classic afternoon teas since 1883, serving traditional favourites such as French pastries, finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and Earl Grey tea. For the first time, executive chef Joel Anderson introduces an Asian interpretation of the classic offering in 2016, for the Year of the Monkey. This February, the iconic afternoon tea at The Windsor Hotel will celebrate Chinese New Year by incorporating classic Asian ingredients. Pastries featuring kumquat, lychee and peach, and dim sum inspired savouries are sure to double your happiness.
