This year Chinese New Year will be celebrated with a bang in Docklands. The 2015 Chinese New Year celebrates the Year of the Sheep. People born in the following years were born in the Year of the Sheep: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003.

The Chinese New Year Festival will run from 19 February 2015 to 1 March 2015. The impressive programme itinerary with a wide range of colourful events is guaranteed to woo everyone from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. The family-friendly celebrations will incorporate floating lanterns, dragon boats, drummers, tai chi and dance troupe demonstrations, fire twirlers and lion dancers. The highlight of the festival will indubitably be the 100-metre long colossal, illuminated Dragon which will call Docklands its home during the entire duration of the festival.

Harbour Esplanade in Docklands will provide refuge to the festival. Learn more by visiting this website.
