Jervis Bay is home to an abundance of beaches, including some of the whitest sand beaches in the world. It is also home to the world's whitest sand beach Hyams Beach (according to the Guinness World Record). Did you know right next to the gorgeous Hyams Beach, another white-sanded beach calls home?
Chinamans Beach is the sister beach to Hyams Beach and makes the perfect alternative to Hyams Beach, especially during peak times.
This best-kept secret beach is also home to a spectacular bushland walk, which leads down to the beach (and beyond), as well as the same bright white sand and clear turquoise water as the bustling Hyams Beach.
The walk is called the White Sands Walk from Vincentia to Hyams Beach and winds its way along the coast towards Plantation Point. It passes Chinamans Beach and many other beaches along the way, including Greenfields Beach and Nelsons Beach.
The White Sands Walk
There is an array of spectacular views of the beaches and the wider Jervis Bay region. The walk is easy and can be done within 30 minutes (one way). Chinamans Beach is also home to some of the most breathtaking views, which can be seen from the top of the beach and on the beach.
Whether you are passing or visiting the area, do add Chinamans Beach to your itinerary or bucket list. It makes for a lovely, and at times, secluded day out.
