Masla Paper Dosa at Chilli India
Craving Indian food? Try Chilli Express India, sister restaurant of Chilli Padi, located on Menzies Alley, Melbourne Central, on the corner of Little Londsdale and Elizabeth Streets.

Start with appetizers such as samosas, chicken tikka, pakoras or chilli prawns to name a few. Then select from a variety of vegetarian or non-vegetarian mains including curries, biryani, tandoori favourites, naan bread and stuffed rotis, or the delicious flavours of the South - including uttapams and dosas.

This is a low-key pseudo outdoor eatery, with people walking past the middle pathway and cheesy 80's tunes from the neighbouring Max Brenner's Chocolate Factory.

[ADVERT]As you savour the flavours from North and South India in the heart of the city, enjoy the feeling of being in "Little India" surrounded by diners conversing in one of many Indian languages and some even eating with their fingers! There are many gluten free and vegan options, Halal certified, and family friendly.

Simple outdoor seating.

Fast service, fresh and tasty food, and a central convenient city location, make this a cheap eat choice for those craving the tastes of India.

Open Monday-Tuesday 11am-3.30pm; Wednesday-Saturday 11am-3.30pm and 6pm - 10.30pm.
