"Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper" goes the wise adage. But in today's busy times, we usually end up eating a small breakfast and a giant dinner. Well, here's one quick and easy recipe which will take care of your breakfast woes whilst saving you some precious time. And it's tasty too!
You will need: 4-6 slices of brown bread, one medium onion, half red and green bell pepper, 2-3 green chillies, half cup of grated cheddar cheese, salt and grounded pepper.
Preheat oven 200 degrees celsius.
Toast the bread for about five minutes.
Finely chop all the vegetables and keep it aside.
Take out the bread from oven and top it with one teaspoon of all the vegetables. On top of the vegetable layer, place a generous amount of cheese.
Put back it in oven and toast it for 15 minutes keeping the temperature 200 degrees celsius.
Your chilli cheese toast is ready when all the cheese is nicely melted.
Take it out from oven and sprinkle salt and pepper according to your taste. Voilà! Your quick, tasty and nutritious breakfast is ready. You can chop all vegetables overnight and keep it in an air-tight container to save more time.
