Fun workshops for children including Alice in Wonderland
Children's workshops are a unique way of teaching children of all ages how to learn and do things without being constantly on a computer!

This is a list of three such interesting events that you could enrol your child into!

KIDS INSPO WORKSHOP
This workshop is sure to keep your child, or children entertained during the school holidays! This workshop will teach your child all about dance, drama, music, movement and a lot of creativity!

On offer here will be the following:
Drama games to build social skills and self-esteem
Movement and dance class, looking at contemporary dance and jazz styles
Partner, group and individual activities
Interesting activities, and introduction to safe stretching
Crafts
Healthy snacks provided

This workshop is suitable for ages 5 years old and upwards, and it will be run by the teachers from Kelly's Dance Academy. These teachers are all trained and experienced in dance and drama.

Once again, parents do not have to stay with the child during this workshop.

When: Tuesday 25th September 2018
Time: From 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm

PRINCESS DANCE WORKSHOP
This princess themed workshop is for slightly younger children - ages 2 to 5 years old, and they need have no dance experience.

This workshop is perfect for any little dancer who loves princesses. The workshop will consist of:
Dancing, including a ballet class to try
Music, including classical princess songs
Crafts
Games
Lots of fun

Children are able to dress up, once again as long as they are not restricted and can move easily in their costumes.

Parents are encouraged to stay during this event, or at least till the children are settled.

Time: 9.30 am to 11.00 am

ALICE IN WONDERLAND
A very exciting workshop based around Alice in Wonderland! This is for any Alice in Wonderland lover (and who isn't enchanted by this tale!) or a child interested in dancing. Here, you will explore this magical classic story.

This 2 hour workshop will consist of:
Alice in Wonderland story, learning about the different characters and the music (both original and current music)
Creating Alice in Wonderland themed crafts
Learning about the Alice in Wonderland ballet performances, costumes and watching a short film clip
Learning a routine to one of the songs from the Alice in Wonderland music
Mad Hatter-style tea party with snacks provided

This will teach children to be creative, and enthusiastic, whilst all the time having fun and interacting with others.

This is aimed at children from 5 to 10 years old, and parents are able to drop off the children, and not stay during the workshop.

Children can dress up as they wish, as long as they can still move freely and dance with no restrictions.
