October is Children's Week - a national event just for KIDS!
Create, Play and Connect at Children's Week 2020 from Sunday 25th October to Sunday 1st November.
Below are the three featured events:
The Family Fun Day is the flagship event, held on the first Sunday of Children's Week at Whiteman Park from 10am - 2pm. Registrations are essential but tickets are free.

Circus Skills workshops

Get the family together and explore nature by completing one (or all) of three Digital Play Trails designed especially for Children's Week WA 2020!
Unlock challenges as you navigate the trails, solve quiz questions and score points. Suitable for all ages and abilities!
Pack a hat, sunscreen and water along with a healthy picnic lunch to make it a full day of fun! You can pick a day and time that suits you and your family:

You are invited to take part in a two-part webinar series focusing on the Power of Participation.
On Tuesday 27th October, the webinar will be released and provide information to help educators support children to safely connect with others in these challenging times. Associate Professor Dee O'Connor from the University of Notre Dame will lead the online lecture.
Then on Wednesday 28th October, a live panel discussion will be held, featuring special guest speakers Cheryl Kickett-Tucker Research Fellow at Curtin University and Founding Director of Pindi Ltd, Amie Fabry from the Department of Education, Caroline Heeris of Meerilinga and The Commissioner for Children and Young People, Colin Pettit.
