Children rock so lets celebrate them
Children's week is a nationally celebrated occasion, where for one week of the year the people of Australia can celebrate the achievements of its children and promote awareness of the rights of children as set out by the United Nations.
In WA there are over 50 events organised to celebrate Children's Week. Click here to find out what is happening in your neighborhood.
To kick off proceedings to officially open Children Week, a family 'Fun Safe Day' has been organised at the glorious Whiteman Park. This event looks set to pack in the fun with loads of live entertainment for kids and fun displays from Scitech, Birds of Prey, Animal Rescue, High Flyers Trampoling and much more. For the parents, organisers have arranged easy access to over 30 government agencies who all support child raising, education and assistance. A perfect event to come and explore, have fun and receive lots of helpful tips and assistance.
