As part of the many celebrations and events during Children's Week from 24th October to 1st November 2015, Go for 2&5 presents Family FunSafe Day on Sunday 25th October from 10am to 2pm at Whiteman Park to mark the opening of Children's Week.


The whole family can learn, play and join in the fun that the event will provide, taking part in the many free and fun activities planned for a fun, active and enjoyable family day. There is a jam-packed schedule of family entertainment and activities, including a climbing wall, an imagination playground, adventure saucers, a dinosaur discovery exploration, a fun maze, party with art, toy hospital, Scitech discoveries, sports and ability games for children with special needs, a toddler obstacle course and much more.

Children's Week is an annual event celebrated right around the nation that is dedicated to recognising and highlighting the achievements of students. It provides an opportunity for the community to come together to participate in events and activities that support and encourage families to grow and acknowledge the importance of play and enjoyment in the years of childhood.
