National Children's Week 2017 will be celebrated from 21 to 29 October 2017. Children's Week is a national celebration of children and a time for children to demonstrate their talents, skills and abilities. On Friday 20 October 2017, Wulagi Primary School will host "NT Launch of Children's Week 2017".



There are several events around Darwin to celebrate Children's Week 2017. City of Darwin Children's Art Exhibition will be held at Council Community Art Space, Civic Centre, Harry Chan Avenue. The official opening will be on 21 October 2017 while the exhibition will start on Monday 23 October and will be on until Friday 24 November 2017.



There will be free Family Fun Morning on Wednesday 25 October 2017 at Jingili Water Gardens with loads of fun activities such as a jumping castle, petting zoo, story-time, magic show with Hyper the Clown, disco with Kevin, free giveaway and morning tea. On Saturday 28 October 2017, Darwin Waterfront will host free family activities from 3pm until 9pm. Look forward to a waterslide, float and play in the lagoon, art and craft, archery attack, demonstration and workshop on breakdancing and hiphop and movie under the sky.
