CHIFF is the first film festival of its kind in Australia
The second annual Children's International Film Festival (CHIFF) will light up the big screens of three cinemas in Melbourne from 24 May to 10 June, 2019.

It caters for children between the ages of 4 to 16 years. The program features Australian premieres with movies being showcased from film festivals in Berlin, Toronto and Seattle. CHIFF has curated a mix of animation through to foreign and English language feature films.

This year's line-up features some of the greatest characters in children's stories from Asterix and Obelix, The Moomins, Famous Five by Enid Blyton and The Little Prince. There will be new heroes including Alex and the Checkered Ninja and the Minuscule Ladybirds.

CHIFF has collaborated with Little Big Shots to present 124 short films.

Screenings will take place at Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick, Hawthorn's Lido Cinemas and Cameo Cinemas in Belgrave. Tickets are available for purchase online here, through cinema partner websites or at the cinema box offices.
