School holiday fun returns to The Embroiderers' Guild, Qld Inc this Summer with an exciting new project for children aged 6 to 16 years.The upcoming children's holiday class will be held on Tuesday 16th and Thursday 18th January 2018 at The Embroiderers' Guild Rooms in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.This is a great opportunity for children to learn basic embroidery stitches from experienced embroiderers.From 9.30am to 2.30pm each day, children will have the unique opportunity to create a small money purse or a shoulder bag. Children will choose the colours and stitches to personalise their bags. The classes are held in a small group and in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere, ensuring each child receives one-on-one guidance. As children complete their individual projects, they will receive handy hints and tricks, allowing them to continue learning at home.Lunch is supplied each day, along with all materials. The cost is $55 for the two days (sandwich lunch included).
