Family Fun for a Good Cause
Celebrating Children's Week in 2014
Hang on, isn't every week Children's Week I hear you ask?
Well, unfortunately not for all children. "Universal Children's Week calls society to a greater response to the plight of many millions of children around the world who are denied the basic necessities of a happy childhood and the education to develop their capacities. It also calls us in Australia to consider those conditions in society which affect the lives and future of our own children."
While Chrildren's Week reminds us to consider the conditions that affect children all over the globe, it also gives us a terrific opportunity to celebrate multiculturalism, promote intercultural understanding and enhance solidarity across diverse communities.
What fun is on offer? There is so much on offer to entertain the whole fmaily: Free Face Painting
Free Water Park
Lots of Market Stalls
Fire Engine Display
Martial Arts Performances
And, lets not forget the fireworks - scheduled to start at 8:00 pm!
You can also purchase a ride pass - which gives you unlimited use of the rides for just $10 (This, my friends, is a total bargain, and all profits benefit Ipswich Flood Victims through the Ipswich Mayor's Community Fund.)
1. Giant Slide
2. King Kong Adventure
3. Kids Playground
4. Obstacle Course Challenge
5. Gladiator Arena
