"Construction Site,

Ipswich Art Gallery will launch the free children's exhibition "Construction Site," to coincide with the upcoming school holidays. This art installation will run from 21 September to 10 November, 10am - 5pm daily.

Children 2-12 years of age will have the freedom to creatively design and build using hundreds of large foam blocks. Children could build the ultimate cubby house, castle, sky-scraper - they could even create their own mini-city. Budding engineers, architects and construction workers will particularly enjoy these "real life" applications of play.

Younger siblings have not been forgotten. A special play space will be provided for children under two years of age.

The Ipswich Art Gallery is wheelchair and pram accessible. There is no admission fee to the Gallery and bookings for the exhibition are not required.

Extend your outing by visiting the nearby Bob Gamble Park for some water play or a picnic.
