At first Chifley Playspace may seem like just a small park, but you'll soon find it has just about every facility you could want or need. From the essentials like toilets, to fun playgrounds and play areas, and great places to picnic. If you're in the area Chifley Playspace is a great place to go.

The playground is probably the first thing on most people's minds when they see the world 'playspace'. Thankfully Chifley Playspace has plenty of playgrounds. The main play area features plenty of climbing frames, nets, and walls, and a small fortress style playground. There is another section that has a fun slide, as well as some fun climbing activities. There is also a cute red train that the kids will love playing in.

If you're after a picnic you have quite a few options, you can find a place on the grass or at one of the tables if you've got food from home, or you can choose to fire up the barbie. There is plenty of seating space, so you should be able to fit a whole load of people in there.

There is also time for sports at the Chifley Playspace. Not only is the nearby field great for soccer and cricket, but there is also a basketball hoop where you can practice your goal-shooting skills. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around, so Chifley Playspace can be a great area to wind down some of their energy levels. At the other end of the field there is also another playground.

The Chifley Playspace is right across the road from a grocers and a cafe, which means that even if you make an impromptu visit you can still grab something to eat. Head to the grocers to stock up for a picnic, or eat at A Bite to Eat, the cafe instead. There are highchairs in the cafe, and they are family friendly, so you'll be fine there with the kids.

Chifley Playspace is a great park to visit with the kids, because there is something nearby for everyone. If you're visiting the nearby cafe a stop at the Playspace can also be a nice treat for the kids after the meal.
