Love travelling and doing lots of fun activities with my kids!

Randwick City's largest and newest playground
It's summer and playgrounds are a great place to keep the kids active and happy. But sometimes, going to the same place can get a bit boring. Luckily, a new playground has recently been opened in the Chifley Sports Reserve. It is the newest and largest playground in Randwick City, and has been designed to accommodate kids of all abilities.

The kids will enjoy zipping through the air on the flying fox. There are two, one with a strap-in chair so the little ones don't miss out on the fun. They can rock climb up the colorful hill, or use the climbing nets or ropes, and slide down using their choice of two slides.

Younger kids have their own mini-slide and play equipment, which includes musical tubes. There are swing sets for toddlers and older kids. They might also enjoy a little lie-down in the doughnut swing while you rock them gently. Besides the sails covering the swing area, there is little shade available. However, there are many young trees and in time, these will provide great shade. There are plenty of benches for parents to sit and relax.

The playground is fully fenced. There is a two-lane bike track just outside the playground, perfect for bike riding or scootering. Older kids can play a game of soccer or footy in the adjacent field which is also surrounded by a bike track.

Undercover picnic tables are available and the bathrooms are nearby. The paths and ramps make the playground very pram-friendly. Disabled parking is available just outside the playground, with plenty of free parking on the street.

If you are looking for something to do these holidays, Chifley Playground is definitely the place to spend a couple of hours.
