Food! Ferment! Wine! All these are a match made in heaven. I absolutely love most sorts of cheese, including Swiss, Camembert, Blue cheese, Gouda, Esrom and so many more! But with the advent of this Cheese, Fest & Ferment event, cheese has got even cheesier!



This year you will find the following in-store:

  • Australia's most amazing cheesemakers.



  • South Australia's finest winemakers.



  • Fermentation masterminds

  • Australia's most innovative food producers



  • Some local award-winning brewers and distillers.

  • At this event, there will be so many different local foods and beverages and it will be in the picturesque Rymill Park, Murlawirrapurka, East Terrace, Adelaide - just a [i]"cheddar roll"[/i] from Adelaide CBD - CheeseFest is a festival not to be missed!



    Maybe you are a true food collective, a real craft beer lover or perhaps a home fermenter, or Australia's best wino or you might just be the type who just enjoys going on a picnic. You may even like to listen to live music with your friends and family, but no matter what you do like, CheeseFest is the place that you will enjoy yourself immensely.

    This event will be on Saturday 27th October 2019 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with the last drinks at 7:30 pm. It will also be on Sunday 28th October 28 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm with the last drinks at 4:30 pm.

    There are a wide variety of events on offers over the weekend including:

  • Over one hundred food and beverage stalls featuring SA (and Australia's) best and unusual cheese, food and beverage. They will all have fresh, local produce in the picturesque Rymill Park



  • There will be some free cooking demonstrations and masterclasses from well known and popular chefs and fermenters.

  • Guided tastings from some of the best cheesemakers, brewers, distillers and vintners in the business.



  • There will also two G & T bars if perhaps you merely want something to drink.

  • As well as all this, there will be some French, Italian, and Spanish Quarters which will feature the best European cheeses and wines, and you won't even have to get on a plane to have them!

  • Come and taste some tarts, toasties, and tea if you simply do not feel like a drink and just feel like relaxing.

  • There will also be a family picnic area for the children to play in.

  • Last year, we were lucky enough to have had the very incredible Matt Preston as our Cheese Master as the Master of Fromage. At this stage, we are not yet telling you who we will have this year - who will it be? Will it be Matt again for this role? Keep an eye out on their Facebook page so you can find out.

    Early Bird Offer: $25 - this expires on 25th October at 11.59 pm.

    Online Tickets Saturday/Sunday - $30

    Online Ticket Weekend Pass - $40

    Adult Tickets at the Gate - $30

    Concession Tickets at the Gate - $25 this are only available at the gate, concession card is required to be shown.

    Kids 12 years and under - FREE!

    Carers - FREE! - (with valid carer's card)

    PLEASE NOTE - there are only limited tickets available at the gate as they sell quickly!

    Transport Information:
    The New O-Bahn drops you directly at our door, as does the new Tram system on North Terrace!

    There is public parking available off Rundle St, North Terrace, Bartels Rd and Flinders St - these both are a few minutes' walk from Rymill Park.
