The Cheeky Sparrow is a small bar to tempt your taste buds and thoroughly relax you after a big week. Owned by former Fremantle Docker Peter Bell it will hit the spot if you're looking for somewhere to relax with a couple of friends and enjoy a tasty inspiring meal and a well made drink.
Wolf Lane entrance
Tucked away down Wolf Lane this small bar offers a decently priced range of well prepared and tasty food, often with a twist. Their pizza range is a popular choice and there's more than enough to share between a friend. The wine and beer selection is decent and while you won't find most of the household brand name beers, what is offered is high quality. There are a few international labels but overall most of the beer and wine is from WA's own backyard. A small range of cocktails are also offered and in keeping with Cheeky Sparrow's funky atmosphere they are all named after Disney princesses and villains. The staff are very friendly but be prepared to wait for your food when it gets busy on a Friday or Saturday night.
The decor itself contributes to the relaxing vibe. Earthy tones, wood and quieter corners make it hard to leave this warm and inviting place. You'll find a selection of seating throughout the bar to suit your mood. Be it a comfy lounge chair to share with a friend over coffee, high tops for a night of casual drinks or tables for a dinner date. One of the great things about Cheeky Sparrow is that it can always offer you something regardless of your mood.
Starting from the 16th of May the Cheeky Sparrow will be hosting a comedy night every second Wednesday. Entry is only $5 and doors open at 6 PM. If you're looking to hold a function the Cheeky Sparrow can accommodate up to 120 guests as long as it's not a Friday night.
